One area that often goes unnoticed is functional movement impairments related to serious psychiatric disorders. Such impairments, impact body-mind connectedness, emotion regulation, impulses, attention, complex cognitive functioning, and interactions with self and others. This is in addition to the control of joints and muscles, ranging from dysregulation in neural circuits governing motor control, autonomic responses, somatic adaptations,and body-mind balance. Neuromuscular biomarkers assess neuromuscular performance and resilience, body-mind coordination and balance, and capacity and feedback of each neuromuscular compartment at rest and during various functional movements, and in relation with the presence and severity of psychiatric disorders. Our proprietary mental health functional movement modules assess  type of movements and contraction per energy system in all planes of movements, in relation to state of mind and emotional processing and integration.
