The Benton-Franklin Health District International Travel Clinic provides services that will enhance your travel experience.

We will provide

· Preventative health counseling
· Current information for every Country on your itinerary
· Vaccination requirements/ recommendations
· Disease risk/prevention
· Information on road safety
· Medical/clinic availability at your destination
· Consulate locations and phone numbers
· Security precautions
· Prescriptions for the prevention of Malaria and Travelers Diarrhea

To ensure a safe and healthy trip:

· Consult your Physician, prior to travel, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition.
· Check on your medical insurance coverage; not all companies cover international travel.
· Receive vaccinations in a timely manner, especially if you are planning an extended trip. Don't wait until the last minute or you may not get the protection you need.
· Bring records of prior vaccinations when coming for your "Travel Clinic" appointment.
